The personal data we collect

We collect personal data only when you give it to us or use the site:

• Enquiry details: your name and email address; your company and phone number where you give them; the sector, application and service you select; and anything you include in your message.
• The page you sent your enquiry from, which we record so the enquiry routes to the right area.
• Technical data: your IP address and basic browser information, processed to protect the site and the enquiry form from abuse.
• If you accept analytics cookies: how you use the site, such as the pages you visit and how you reached us. We do not collect this unless you accept.

We do not buy personal data and we do not collect it from third parties.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry with a recommendation and a quote. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
• To protect the site and the enquiry form from spam and abuse, including bot protection and rate limiting. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
• To keep records of enquiries and of any business that follows. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running the business, and legal obligation where the law requires records to be kept.
• To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it. Lawful basis: your consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our instructions: our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare), the customer relationship management system we use to handle enquiries, and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to professional advisers where necessary.

International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the approved standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as it is needed to handle your enquiry and any business relationship that follows, and no longer than necessary. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, as set out under "Your rights" below.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• have inaccurate data corrected
• ask us to delete your data
• restrict or object to our processing of it
• receive the data you gave us in a portable format
